Retreats + Events

Dr Lana offers the Perth Community of Meditators several events throughout the year.

All Vedic Meditators are welcome. These events foster community, knowledge and connection but above all they are supportive for us as we incorporate VM into our lives on the path to becoming the best versions of ourselves and living in a way that feels purposeful, easeful and expansive.

Examples of FREE events.

  • Regular group meditation and group rounding sessions in Highgate and Fremantle (twice per month in each location)

  • Vedic Refresher Sessions – Resit the learn to meditate course again anytime and  as often as you wish. Refresher courses are wonderful because you hear everything slightly differently as your consciousness shifts.

  • Refresher sessions are 3 sessions of 90 minutes over three consecutive days

  • Community get togethers such as cinema night, pool party, park meditations, kirtan events, various auspicious events during the Vedic calendar and more.

  • Regular free intro to meditation sessions of 45 mins that you are welcome to bring family and friends to if they are showing interest in the practice.

RETREATS

  • Retreats are the best way to uplevel your practice by immersing yourself in 1-5 days of

  • Vedic practices + knowledge.

  • We offer 1-day urban rounding retreats up to 5-day residential rounding retreats.

  • Here we provide a container for you to work through gentle but transformative sequences to release years of stress. In this space you will sit with Community and Dr. Lana.

  • There is always nature, knowledge, and nourishment.

Here is an example retreat offering :

  • Join us for a 3-night retreat in Lesmurdie, Perth Hills.

  • The experience is open to all Vedic or Transcendental Meditators who currently practice the technique.

  • Spend time in nature, experience deep rest, delve into the wisdom of the Veda, connect with the community, discover and implement Ayurvedic well-being routines and enjoy nourishing Sattvic food.

  • Throughout the weekend, course participants will receive their own, individually tailored program and receive complete instruction in the art of Rounding.

  • Rounding is an industrial strength practice that combines a specific sequence of gentle yoga poses (asanas), balancing breath work (pranayama), and meditation and is designed to deeply purify the mind and body.

  • The purification of mind and body received through Rounding can bring a greater state of happiness, greater clarity, and a deep sense of peace to each and every course participant. Practicing multiple Rounds on this 4-day retreat is equivalent to 6 months of twice-daily practice.

  • This retreat will also be an opportunity to sit with Dr. Lana and devote special time to enlightening the intellect, heart, and mind - revealing practical knowledge guaranteed to transform how you think about the world and yourself.

Meditators of all levels of experience are invited and encouraged to take part.
